Black Hawk College Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) has partnered with the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) at James Madison University to bring you a unique and exclusive set of training for managers and supervisors in any industry.

Certified Manager (CM®)
The Certified Manager (CM®) certification is a globally recognized professional credential for experienced and qualified managers. CM increases managerial confidence on-the-job, promotes professional credibility, and advances marketability for employment and career advancement. The three module program is open to candidates meeting eligibility requirements and can be taken in any order. Completion of all three modules and successfully passing all three module exams will result in certification.

Management Skills III – Leading and Controlling
Instructor: D. Davis
Provides skills and knowledge for improved leading and controlling. Topics include leadership, motivation, managing change, conflict, politics and negotiation, managing misbehavior, time and stress management, organizational control, operations control, accounting and financial information, and financial management.
*Certification exam will be administered during the final week. Application fee, materials and exam fee are included in cost.

Certificate in Foundations of Management
Instructor: D. Davis
The Foundations of Management program is a certificate program providing essential tools for supervising in today’s workplace for first level managers and supervisors. Beginning with the basic managerial functions—planning, organizing, leading and controlling, the program explores the role of supervisory managers and establishes a firm foundation for sound decision making, problem solving, communicating, and more. In addition, it introduces basic business concepts to establish a foundation for advancement in the management profession. Participants that complete the program and successfully pass the online assessment exam receive and ICPM Certificate of Completion.
