The Black Hawk College East Foundation honored Doug Parrott and the Kewanee Kiwanis Club at the March 29, 2011, Wall of Fame Reception at the East Campus Conference Center.

Doug Parrott was inducted into the Wall of Fame, and the Kewanee Kiwanis Club received the Distinguished Service Award. Honorees have provided outstanding service and/or leadership to the Foundation and/or the Black Hawk College East Campus as well as the community.

Parrott, president of the State Bank of Toulon, has been on the board of the Black Hawk College East Foundation since 2006 and the board vice president since 2009. The Kewanee Kiwanis Club’s relationship with Black Hawk College dates back to 1966 when Kiwanis member Gust “Brick” Lundberg initiated a program to financially support the founding of the East Campus. Since then, the Kiwanis Club has distributed 81 scholarships to BHC students.
