As a continuation of French 1 and the emphasis on pronunciation, learn how to construct short key sentences and refine your listening and comprehension skills. Learn more about the French culture, food, and travel. Please bring to the first class: a French-English/English-French dictionary, a 3-hole binder, and 15 tabbed divider sheets for binder. Class will be more individualized than French 1.

Introduction to Conversational Spanish

Do you know someone who speaks Spanish or do you plan to travel? Use this course as a way to quickly learn the basics of pronunciation, the alphabet, numbers, and everyday words and conversational phrases in Spanish. You’ll also learn some travel-related vocabulary and fun phrases in this six-week course taught by a native speaker.

Introduction to Japanese

Designed for beginners, this class will provide a basic understanding of the Japanese language. Learn the phonetic alphabet, the numbers, and some commonly used expressions together with relevant fundamentals of Japanese history and culture. The instructor is a native of Japan.
